Mickey Gee
As a young boy growing up, Mickey Gee knew he wanted to be a cowboy. He joined the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association in 1996 and three years later in 1999, he won a world championship title in steer wrestling. His professional rodeo career spanned more than 15 years. After a memorable trip to the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in 2011, Mickey made the decision to retire from the sport of rodeo to be able to spend more time with his family.
Having dreamed of becoming an auctioneer as a young boy, Mickey attended the Texas Auction Academy in February 2015. He became a licensed auctioneer in the state of Texas on March 21, 2015 and Gee Auctions was formed.
Mickey resides in Wichita Falls with his wife Amber, daughter Hadley, and son Cooper. When not busy with an auction, Mickey enjoys playing golf, roping, and attending his kids sporting events.
